Project brief

The Daltons are three brothers who started a company that offers temporary staff for a variety of services. They were looking for a logo that will become recognisable over time without the need of the actual name, and can fit staff-clothing, banners, flags, etc. The style needed to be a blend of chique, modern and retro, with a touch of British.


The Daltons are born and raised in Amsterdam, and their roots are recognisable in outlook and communication in person. Being three brothers who look alike, and grow taller in order of age, I wanted to incorporate a personal touch in the logo. Creating different elements in different concepts

The concept

Being three brothers who look alike, and grow taller in order of age, we landed on a shape consisting of three dots, each dot and size representing one of the three brothers. The center "D" for Daltons.

For the different uses we decided on a couple of variations for the logo. One with just the D, and one with the full name and payoff, which can also be used without the larger shape around it.


Business cards

A luxurious, matt finish with a black side lining gives the business cards not only the look, but also the feel of the quality that their brand and services stand for.
